Chilled Roller

Chilled Roller

The chilled roller works as a finishing device that uses a heat transfer method to extrusion coating operations or extrusion of flat sheets.

The essential design criteria for this include—roll load & face deflection followed by the heat removal.

To reduce material deformation during the manufacturing process, the material roll of products must be cooled with a chilling roller’s help. This is typically fitted on the left to the web for reducing the temperature of the web to the path of heat-set ink temperature. The efficiency of the job is high, and the size and patterns can be customized.

Applications and uses of Chilled Roller:

Mostly used for food, optical film, solar cells, various sheets, LCD screen, optical film coating equipment, cast films and extrusion lamenting instruments as well as pharmaceutical packaging industries;

Other widespread uses include textile, paper, plastic, laminating, roofing, winding, and extruding applications,
